We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative intern, a self-starter who takes initiative but also listens and takes direction well. Our intern will also contribute creative ideas and be an active member of our team.
This internship is a valuable opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship in the arts, event/concert production, social media, and other aspects of running a growing, dynamic non-profit music ensemble. The intern will work closely with the Artistic Directors and Company Manager for approximately 4-6 hours per week (4 hours in office, approximately 1-2 hours remotely) and possibly more during production weeks, which will be discussed in advance. Some hours may be worked remotely.
Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of at least one 4-hour shift per week in office, 1-2 hours remotely as assigned, and more hours during production weeks, including our benefit on October 4, 2017 (to be discussed in advance).

THOUGHTS FROM PREVIOUS INTERNS
"Working alongside Sugar, Arden, and the rest of the NCP team was the perfect introduction to NYC’s new music and arts administration scene. This ensemble exudes exemplary work, dedication, and professionalism in presenting important music and ideas at the forefront of classical music today. So being a part of that, from the small but crucial administrative tasks, to the big, publicly visible concert productions and promotions, was the vital next step of my education."
"Interning for NCP introduced me to the vibrant new music community in NYC and hands-on experience with essential production skills. Having these connections and tools directly lead to a job in concert production at a major institution. I am so grateful to NCP for the support and education they gave me during my internship."
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, including your resume as a PDF attachment and a brief cover letter detailing why you are interested in this position with NCP specifically and what makes you an exceptional candidate.
