We’ll premiere a new piece by our founder, Sugar Vendil’s new work ooh wo ah oo wa o for vocalizing ensemble, and wear costumes specially created for “ooh wo ah oo wa o” by Jasmine Chong. Huge thanks to Chamber Music America for commissioning this piece!

The concert also features composer/pianist Melinda Faylor and composer/saxophonist Darius Jones, who will premiere their own original works! Jones will be joined by Amirtha Kidambi.
